June Insights

So often in life it is very easy for us as people having this human experience to loose focus and track of were we actually going or were we actually want to go and end up. The world in which we live is designed to stimulate every sense of ours taking no prisoners but attracting us and attaching us to various elements of its nature.

People that come to me for healing ask the same question that others have asked. How does one rise above this never ending cycle of sense gratification that leaves us feeling unfulfilled and having to work harder to find the peace and love inside of us? Each action whether viewed as wrong or right by us or others is created and acted out by us. So we should own those actions and thoughts and own up to them. We need to be conscious of what we are doing every second of every day so that as Ghandi says “happiness comes when what we think, say and do are in harmony.

Medically speaking the body is pretty much split in two, everything below the head and everything above the head namely the mind and body. Adding the third and critical element the soul we see the depth to Ghandi’s quote as when the mind, body and soul are in harmony we are focused, motivated and moving in the direction we consciously choose.

We often blame the mind for leading us off track away from where we ultimately want to go. Are we not the creators of our reality? Do we not create the experiences that our mind uses as a gauge for future experiences? We must realise that we are the mind, we are the body and we are the soul. We are all of these and we need to remember that fact. We need to take ownership of these three elements of our human experience. Once we take ownership of the direction our soul wants to go and guide the mind to lead the body there we will find ultimate peace.

In order to do this we need to come from the foundation of unconditional love. For that is all that your soul wants to give and enjoy. It is all that you search for day and night on your path to remembrance of who you truly are. When we are operating from the foundation of unconditional love we are operating from the heart. Have you ever noticed that what the heart wants the mind will follow without question. The process does not work the other way round. The mind when acting without the hearts leaves one feeling disjointed and unsatisfied and a search to reconnect to the heart resumes again and again till you reconnect with the heart.

Become unconditional love even for one second and feel the remembrance of who you are. Take it step by step and consciously work to become that which you seek.
