Who is Swami Vishwananda?

It is not often that we get the opportunity to be in someone like Swami’s company. Some people search their entire lives to try and be close to a soul as great as his. Someone who can give us guidance and love on a level we read about or sit in meditation trying to reach.

It is not about following him, bowing at his feet wanting to always be around him. Those are all external shows of devotion. Yes it is an amazing boon to be in his presence and touch his feet, as the Eastern scriptures say it can wash you of all sin.

But it s about following his message when you are not around him, it is about truly understanding what his message is in your heart.

So who is Swami, well one can really write so much and share so much. But it is about finding out for yourself, looking inside your heart and understanding it from there. If you try and come to the answer from your mind you will never be able to comprehend.

When we come with expectations, he breaks them for us to free us. When we come with judgements he shows us how move past them, just as Jesus did with his followers. He did not try and make them dependant on him rather he began to lead them gentle off there crutches of needing and onto the road of standing on their own to feet.

I have had the honour of meeting two other great spiritual leaders, they were amazing but my love for Swami is something I have never known. My heart was dry and full of sadness, I had forgotten how to love from my heart, that is something that no human should endure as that is our core purpose here on this earth.

That is what we come down to fully experience giving and receiving unconditional love. Swami gave that back to me like he did so many others. He did it without wanting anything or judging you.

How many of us can truly say we are ready to do that or can actually do that towards others, very few.

Someone looked at me the other day and asked me a question and all I can say is there is so much more going on down here on earth at the moment then most people can fathom or understand.

When you open your heart and love your fellow humans from your heart with unconditional love, this experience changes for the better. Suddenly you have no judgments or conditions. You begin to accept everyone for who they are and where they are in their lives.

Suddenly you begin to live the message Swami has been giving us all along.

Love and Light

Wishing every one love and light and a thought to consider.

Swami is with us all the time and we should remember this. He sees all that we do and cry's in his heart when we act away from love and judge a fellow devotee or anyone on the earth.

This goes for all devotees no matter what your belief or who you call Guru.

Act with love and you will shine as we are truly intended to.

Peace, love and light to all

God created the world in 7 Days........

And on the 7th Day………………………

The book of Genesis in the Bible says the God created the world in 7 days. Modern day Christians take that literally and believe that the world was created in 7 days each day having 24 hours and each hour having 60 minutes.

Scientists have proven otherwise and have said that it took 40+ million years for the first aspect of man to come about.

Christians dispute this and completely deny that it took that long as the Bible says7 days.

We as humans have a wonderful tendency to limit ourselves to our mind and what our mind is capable of or rather what we feel the mind is capable of. As we know we only use 10% of our minds, only 10% the sadder part is we use even less of our heart.

We also then limit God to what we are able to conceive. We know that God is our creator and God created the most amazing things. If sit down and look at how intricate everything is on this planet you can only be in awe. How each aspect of His creation fits like a cog in giant machine.

In the Eastern Philosophy 1 Day of God is equal to around 6 months of our time and 1 night is also equal to around 6 months.

The world was created before time management and time keeping came into existence. Even after it was created the time factor we use today was brought in to proper being in the 1500 and that was introduced by the Catholic Church. Before then there we so many different ways to keep time, the Egyptians had there own way, the Mayans etc.

We know God created the universe and everything in it, but we limit ourselves and by limiting ourselves we limit God. We put God in a box and say this how we see it, but if we truly understand the Magnificence of God then we know that our meagre attempt to understand what He has done fails miserable.

Let’s try this: imagine if all religions and faiths for 1 day stopped and said wow each of our beliefs points to one Higher Power. We call ours Allah, you call God, and you call yours Krishna.

Now all faith believe that if you don’t worship my Aspect you are going to hell. Simple put everyone Human on this planet is then going to Hell.

Here is the wonderful truth, in all religions and faiths the “Aspect” is actually all about love. Love, Love, Love.

We should rather stop looking for difference and being so narrow minded with each other.

Rather let all religions and faith hold hands for one day and operate from the heart. Operate with love and tolerance. Imaging what a day it would be to have everyone operating from love. Even the people who say there is Nothing out there whether they like to believe it or they also subscribe to a belief and “Religion”. They could also join hands and operate with love.

God is love and love has no boundaries, until we operate from the heart we will not be able to understand that. We will keep operating from the mind and keep doing the same silly things that we have done for centuries, go to war in the name of God.

It is time we stopped seeing God as the kid with magnifying glass on the hill burning us all, waiting for us all to fail so we can be given Karma or sent to Hell for the rest of eternity.

It says in all the Scriptures that we are an aspect of God, that God created us in his own image. Why would he then punish Himself as we are no different to Him.

The only difference is we have forgotten that fact, we think we or supposed to learn a lesson from each situation. But if we are as the scriptures state an aspect of Him, then what do we have to learn, we truly know everything already, we have just forgotten. Rather we should try and remember who we are and that we are one and the same as God.

As more and more people try and become spiritual in their outlook and understanding, disillusion will eventually take over. They are trying to understand something greater than us with old conditions. Conditions that come from the mind, conditions that have not worked since time began.

If we as humans truly want to evolve to our full potential we need to operate from the Heart with Unconditional love towards each other. Until then we will be stuck in a cycle.

Jesus and Babaji

So while lying in bed this morning at 4am half sleeping, half meditating I got to thinking about Jesus. In all came about because I was originally lying there with my eyes closed breathing in and out while silently chanting Om Namo Narayanaya, actually first I was singing a Babaji song that we were singing yesterday at His birthday.

Then in a semi conscience state I started thinking how all the great masters are actually part and parcel of each other and aspects of each other. Yes they have different traits but actually there message is the same - unconditional love, humility and unity.

I know this to be true that they practically share the same message. For Jesus and Babaji the method in which they delivered the message was and is different. We will not get into any details of how the message was different if you want to know you can read the Bible.

So where am I going with this? Well most Westerners that follow the eastern path of life (almost all Easterners) don’t really give a second thought to Jesus or his message. In the beginning I grew up in a Christian house, ok well it was an attempt as we hardly attended church and I did not really give Jesus a second look or thought. Yes He had a whole section of a book dedicated to him and yes He died on a cross, but up until 1 year ago I really did not give Him time in my mind or heart. Then one day something happened and I fell in love with Him.

I read the Bible cover to cover and well one can’t explain it but I opened myself up to His love and protection. His energy is very similar to Babaji’s energy the more you read and understand about his life and teaching the more similarities you find between the Two great Masters.

To know Jesus is with me guiding and protecting me with love is a wonderful feeling inside my heart and soul. That coupled with Babaji being with me is enough to bring tears of joy pouring from inside.

What I am trying to say is let us remember all the Masters with love as they all came down to teach and give so much to us. They are all still giving us so much and whether you decide to read to the Bible or not is not important, what is important is closing your eyes and allowing yourself to open up to Jesus wonderful healing and loving energy.

So next time you are doing prayers or sitting in mediation say a short prayer for Jesus in your heart and soul for all He did for Humanity and for you.

What is a Vaishnava???

In Eastern philosophy terms and the people who were the most written about are Devotees of Lord Krishna that thought only about Krishna with unwavering Love and Devotion. No matter what happened to them or what situation they were in they new Krishna would protect them and He only had the best intentions for them to get closer to Him.

Vaishnavas can be simplified even more as a believing that there is only God that permeates everything and everything is Sustained by The Lord. Under The Supreme Lord reside many Demi Gods that perform many duties.

So a Vaishnava then is someone who loves with pure unconditional Love and Devotion the Supreme Lord. They realise that they can be friends with the Lord and can even become the Lords Lover. This is shown in cases like Meera the Queen Saint who loved Krishna so much and that she eventually ran towards the Murti of Krishna and merged with it.

But Vaishnavism can be extended to all religions and faiths as anybody who loves God. Whether the person is Christian, Muslim or Hindu is irrelevant. The love and devotion that you have for Him is important though.

Is their more to it than just Love and Devotion, which in itself is something that does not come easily to mankind?

Pure unconditional love and devotion that is free of the Mind. The Mind adds limitations and expectations that put the Love and Devotion inside a box. The expectations come with if “I Love God” or if “God does this for me” then I will be this or do that. When we sit down to meditate we have expectations about something we should feel or experience.

Leave all that behind and really feel God in your heart and soul. Just feel the love for God in your heart, let that start to spread throughout your body. After awhile of doing it you will simply have to think of God and the Love will immediately flow.

All of the Incarnations, whether you love Jesus, Krishna, Ram etc thay all had the same message love. Love not only for them but love for all humans. They all said how can you Love me when you don’t love your fellow human. I am inside of you and your neighbour, so to love Me you need only love your neighbour.

There is a beautiful story of a simple shepherd who was looking after his sheep.
One day a great sage came past. The shepherd stopped the saint and asked him. “Oh great sage, I am but a simple person with no knowledge of the scriptures” “How can I find God, please help me”.

The Sage looked at the shepherd and said “One does not need to know the scriptures or be a great mind to find God” “Simply love God, love him with all your heart and soul”.
The Shepherd then replied “Oh Great Sage how can I love what I do not know or have not seen”.

Seeing the Shepherd’s sincerity the Sage replied “Take something which you love no matter if it is human or animal and love that unconditionally”.
The shepherd said to the Sage “Oh Great Sage all I have is my sheep”. To which the Sage Replied “That’s fine love them unconditionally”.

The Sage departed and the Shepherd followed the Sage’s direction.

After a couple of months the Sage returned and stopped where the Shepherd was sitting with his sheep.

The Shepherd got up and said “Oh Great Sage, I have been doing as you said, but when I look at my sheep all I see is this 4 armed figured instead of my sheep”. “Who is that and how can I love my sheep and find God when That is all I see”.

The Sage Smiled and said “you have already found God”

Lets us spread the message of Love and Humility between mankind, no matter your beliefs or faith. Let us love and not judge, let us move from the mind to the heart.

We all want great minds and we want more knowledge when in fact we struggle to understand the simplest 4 letter word in the world “Love”.

If we all operated from the heart without judgement we will find ourselves closer to God then we could have ever imagined.
