Recently I watched documentary that was talking about shift, the shift as they said in the consciousness of man. It is a shift that everyone is asking about and somehow knows about yet is unsure, unaware or unable to understand what it actually is. The documentary is called 'collective evolution III - Shift' and was interesting to see as it shows a world, it shows humanity, it shows the masses of population on this planet wanting a change but not 100% sure 1 - what change they actually want and 2 - once they know what change they want how to implement this change and eventually become this change.
Change in itself is a interesting word and concept for the people as it is something that they would like to see but something that they themselves are loath to really embrace or become themselves. One of the most widely used quotes in this area is “be the change you want to see in the world” and that was said by Mahatma Ghandi and is echoed through every new 'super conscious' person. The words themselves are true and very important yet the words as we have come to understand are cheap and easy to say, however the action of actually living them is the real test of sincerity to what you believe, what you would like to see.
The documentary kept talking about a moving towards society understanding that although we are seemingly separate we are in fact one vast consciousness and what happens to one in truth happens to all of us at a very deep level of creation. This is not a new concept as great Yogi’s and Saints in all religions have known this for centuries already, however they through a certain consciousness could understand this and it was a sincere commitment on many levels that allowed them to see this and fully understand this. So the question is what was and still is this commitment that allowed the great Saints and Yogis to understand and have this consciousness that science is only now beginning to get a glimpse of?
Closer to home, society has become a hungry consuming machine where it flattens and destroys everything in it’s path. It is a machine that believes everything is a commodity that can be owned from a simple yet life sustaining plant to animals and even fellow human beings. Unless society realises that we are all connected on a subconscious level and that includes animals and trees then how can your consciousness change if you are still consuming flesh off of another conscious being? How can society in even a small amount become conscious when day and night it is consuming unconsciousness. When day and night it is consuming fear, pain and death brought on in a violent manner? There is no difference between the dog, cat, bird, fish etc etc that society keeps as pets and ‘loves’ and the animal that is butchered in the most horrific way to end up on your plate as a meal. As said earlier the sincerity to be the change you want to see is what is the hardest.
Saint and great Yogis for centuries have know and understood all of this, they have lived in harmony with society and in society most of them understanding that which science is getting a glimpse of now that we are all one consciousness although individual. So how have they done this and how can you begin to be this change. It all starts with a simple belief and faith! LOVE ! However this is not the love that is so commonly thrown around and mistaken for lust in todays world this is deeper love, it is a consciousness where the ego is banished and the soul is set free.
Love in todays world is broken down into a physical dimension, you see someone you like so you ‘love’ that person. You love this food or that object, however we have all experienced moments where true love transcends the material and physical and becomes something intangible, something we long for and search for. That is truly the heart opening up to love and not the mind creating lust and letting us believe that it is love.
Man and all on this planet are made of 3 things Mind, Heart and Soul. Currently in man’s point of existence the majority of humanity is existing through the mind and the mind is where the ego resides, the mind is where our pride keeps us trapped in a cycle of me, me, me and I, I, I. It is a place where we justify our actions even though deep down subconsciously we feel they are wrong and that we should change. The mind is a place where lust and not true love can flourish as the ego controls this domain and knows that if true love where to come into existence in you then it would loose control, it would no longer be guiding you nourishing the pride.
The heart is the gateway for our soul to become conscious in us and guide us, for when we are living from the centre of the heart we are living in love, we are existing in a space free of ego and pride, free of a need to possess anything but yet conscious enough to really be this change and help others make this change within themselves. We have all had these moments when our heart has guided us and we have existed in that space where time does not seem to exist yet we are more conscious of it then ever before. The soul is screaming out to you to move towards your heart live from your heart so that it can become conscious in you, it can become your light.
Without this shift in humanity we will always go back to the point that society finds itself in now a point where change is desperately needed but people are unsure of what change is need or how to become it.
